Product Description

Unifolin 15mg Tablet is used to reduce the side effects of a group of medicines called folic acid antagonists such as methotrexate (anticancer medicine), trimetrexate (antibiotic and anticancer medicine), trimethoprim (antibiotic) and pyrimethamine (antimalarial medication). It is used in the treatment of megaloblastic anemias (folic acid deficiency) when they occur during pregnancy, infancy, or caused due to inadequate food intake or absorption or liver disorders. It should not be used in patients with anemia caused by too little vitamin B12, and patients with hereditary sugar intolerances. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Your doctor may ask you to drink plenty of water. 

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Unifolin 15mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• Nausea, vomiting, severe diarrhea
• Mouth ulcers
