Product Description

Leucorin 15mg Tablet consists of the active ingredient Calcium folinate. It is the active form of folinic acid, indicated to treat unwanted effects caused by administration of the group of medicines called folic acid antagonists. Some of the most commonly prescribed folic acid antagonists include the anti-cancer drug methotrexate, antibiotic trimethoprim, antibiotic and anti-cancer drug trimetrexate and antimalarial drug pyrimethamine.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if have seizures, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using, especially phenytoin for your seizures.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Leucorin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• Inflammation in the lining of mouth and intestine
• Severe allergic reactions

Common:

• Nausea, vomiting, severe diarrhea
• Mouth ulcers
• Swelling or ulcers of the lip, throat,upper gastrointestinal tract
