Zoladex 3.6mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent goserelin acetate. It is used to treat prostate cancer in men. Cancer is a disease in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. In women, this medication is used to treat breast cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids (benign growths in the womb). Endometriosis is a painful illness in which the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside of your uterus.  

It also helps treat infertility in women in combination with other medications and is used to make the lining of the uterus thinner before the operation on the uterus. It is contraindicated in children and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Before taking Zoladex 3.6mg Injection, talk to your physician if you have high blood pressure, heart disorders, diabetes, urinary problems, bone diseases, or if you drink alcohol or smoke.

While being treated with Zoladex 3.6mg Injection, use barriers methods of birth control such as diaphragm or condom and avoid oral contraceptive pills. If you develop a depressed mood during the treatment, inform your health care professional.
