X Trant 140mg Capsule consists of the active ingredient Estramustine used to treat advanced cancer of the prostate gland, where hormonal therapy is not beneficial. It belongs to the category of medicines called antimitotic agents that stabilizes microtubule formation. This medicine should not be taken along with calcium-containing products such as milk, cheese and specific remedies for indigestion. Most common side effects include enlargement of breast tissues, liver dysfunction, swelling, nausea and diarrhea.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if have heart problem, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. X TRANT 140 MG CAPSULE may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
