Product Description

Temorel 5mg Capsule consists of the active substance Temozolomide. It is prescribed to treat adults with brain cancer. It is the standard drug used in combination with radiotherapy to treat patients with glioblastoma multiforme and anaplastic astrocytoma. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are the most common and aggressive brain cancers with low chances of survival. Anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with Temorel 5mg Capsule or radiotherapy after biopsy, whereas Glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and Temorel 5mg Capsule and then Temorel 5mg Capsule is continued as maintenance therapy.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if have bleeding, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It may harm your baby. You and your partner should avoid becoming pregnant or fathering a child for several months after your treatment with it has stopped.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Temorel 5mg capsule is to be taken empty stomach.

• Blood clot in lungs or legs

• Uncontrolled bleeding

• Hair loss

• Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
• Constipation
• High blood sugar levels
• Dizziness, impaired sensation, tingling sensation, abnormal taste
• Vision and Hearing problem
• Frequent urination
• Muscle damage, pain in muscles and joints
• Weight changes
• Infections and wounds
• Amnesia
