T-Pres Injection contains terlipressin. It is used to treat bleeding esophageal varices (bleeding from the enlarged or swollen veins in the food pipe leading to your stomach). It is not recommended for use in adolescents and children. Talk to your physician if you have severe infections, breathing problems, chest pain, heart problems, high blood pressure, kidney disorders, or if you have had a heart attack before taking T-Pres Injection.
