Revac-B Injection contains hepatitis B vaccine (rDNA). It is used to protect against hepatitis B virus infection in adults. It can also be given to hepatis C and D infected persons to protect them against co-infection with hepatis B virus. Hepatitis B virus is a virus that damages your liver, and gradually stops the liver from working properly.
Talk to your doctor if you have an illness which may affect your immune system, having dialysis for a kidney problem, long term liver problems, HIV (human acquired immunodeficiency syndrome), hepatitis C, recently had or about to have any other vaccinations before taking Revac-B Injection. You need to tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding before taking this vaccine.
