Product Description

Recipan 40mg Tablet contains pantoprazole. It is used to treat reflux oesophagitis (inflammation of the tube connecting the throat to your stomach caused by reflux of acid from the stomach) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. In adults, it is used to treat stomach, and duodenal ulcers and bacterial infection (Helicobacter pylori) in patients with these ulcers. It is also used to treat Zollinger-Ellison-Syndrome (tumors form in the pancreas or duodenum, leading to too much production of stomach acid). 

Talk to your physician if you have severe liver problems, or if you are taking atazanavir (treats HIV infection), or due to have a specific blood test (chromogranin A). Administration of Recipan 40mg Tablet for a long duration may lead to low magnesium levels in the blood. This may cause tiredness, convulsions, increased heart rate, or muscle contractions. Report to your physician if you experience any of these symptoms.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
