Product Description

Rahika 200mg Tablet contains Capmatinib. It is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is a disorder in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner in the tissues of the lung. This medication is used in adult patients where the NSCLC cancer has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed by surgery and whose tumors have abnormal MET gene (mesenchymal-epithelial transition gene).

Before taking Rahika 200mg Tablet, you need to talk to your physician if you have or have had liver diseases or lung problems other than lung cancer. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least one week after the last dose. Limit sun exposure during the treatment with this medication. Use sunscreen or wear clothes that cover your skin while going outside.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Side Effects

Serious:

• Lung problems (cough, fever, or shortness of breath)
• Liver problems (yellowing of skin or whites of eyes, dark colored urine, confusion, light-colored stools)
• Risk of sensitivity to light

Common:

• Nausea, vomiting
• Tiredness, weakness
• Loss of appetite
• Swelling of hands or feet
• Changes in certain blood tests
