Product Description

Oxaltero 100mg Injection consists of the active ingredient Oxaliplatin. It is prescribed to treat stage 3 colon cancer and colorectal cancer, along with other chemotherapy treatments. Colorectal cancer develops from the accumulation of various genetic alterations. Both environmental and genetic factors play a significant role in the origin of colorectal cancer. This medicine works against tumors that are resistant to cisplatin therapy.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It makes men infertile, hence men should take doctor advice about the freezing of sperm before the treatment. You must avoid driving after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness.

• Reduced number of blood cells
• Unpleasant sensation in the throat
• High risk of infections
• Indigestion and heartburn
• Blood in urine
• Blood clots
• High BP
• Depression and insomnia
• Low levels of calcium in the blood
