NICOCHEW 2MG contains Nicotine which is used to help people stop smoking. It relieves nicotine withdrawal symptoms and cravings when you stop smoking or temporarily reduce smoking in order to facilitate smoking cessation. It thereby counteracts a smoking relapse in smokers who are motivated to stop smoking.

Nicotine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It works by providing the same effect of nicotine by binding to the nicotine receptors in the brain. It is habit-forming and hence dose and duration should be taken as advised by the doctor.

If you stop suddenly providing nicotine from tobacco to your body, you may feel various discomfort (withdrawal symptoms). This medicine can prevent or at least reduce this discomfort, by continuing to provide a small amount of nicotine to your body during a short period of time. Tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you are suffering from any heart, liver, or kidney disease. You must not smoke while using this medicine as it can result in dangerous effects.

How to use

Take this medicine according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Read the label for directions before use.
