Product Description

Neomol 250mg Suppository contains the active constituent paracetamol. It is used to treat fever and pain in children from 6 to 12 years of age. A Suppository is a medicine intended for the insertion into the back passage (rectum). They are usually given to children who find it difficult to take paracetamol as syrup or tablets.

How to use

Always use this medicine as described in the leaflet or as your physician has told you. Your child’s bowel needs to be emptied while you give this medicine; it will be easier if the children are lying on their side or front on a bed. Wash your hands and gently push the suppository in to your child’s back passage with pointed end first. Give this medicine in dose and duration as prescribed by your physician. Contact your physician if you have any doubts.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious: 

• Allergic reaction (rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of the lips, face, tongue or throat)

Common: 

• Soreness or redness in and around the back passage
