Nefita Injection is composed of Methylcobalamin 1500mcg, Folic acid 1.5mg, Niacinamide 100mg, Pyridoxine HCl 100mg. It is a multivitamin formulation specifically designed to suit patients with kidney disease and those undergoing dialysis treatment. It is indicated to avoid nutritional deficiency that occurs just after a dialysis procedure is done to a patient.

 

End-stage kidney disease is the stage of kidney disease where a patient requires renal replacement therapy like dialysis due to irreversible deterioration of kidney function. Patients with kidney failure are at a high risk of acquiring heart attacks. Adequate intake of folic acid and vitamins reduces the risk of heart disease by 20-55%.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

 

Nefita Injection is generally safe to use and is not associated with significant side effects. However, watch out for symptoms of overdose such as:

• Stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite
• Hair loss, peeling skin, tingling around the mouth
• Changes in menstrual cycle, weight loss
• Severe headache, muscle or joint pain, severe back pain
• Blood in urine
• Pale skin
• Easy bruising or bleeding
