Product Description

Mythal 50mg Capsule consists of the active ingredient Thalidomide. It is currently used for treating multiple myeloma at initial diagnosis and preventing relapse. Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer occurring in the plasma cells of the white blood cells. These plasma cells get accumulated in the bone marrow and divide uncontrollably, leading to damage in bone and kidneys. Mythal 50mg Capsule is also prescribed for treating skin lesions in leprosy. Leprosy is a chronic disease that affects the skin and nerves and is caused by a bacteria named Mycobacterium leprae.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy. You are advised to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated while taking this medicine.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Mythal 50mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
