Product Description

MET XL 100MG TABLET contains Metoprolol, which belongs to the group of medicines called Beta-blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure, angina pectoris (chest pain), and heart failure. It is also used to treat arrhythmias or palpitations, and to prevent heart attacks and migraines.

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking MET XL 100MG TABLET as it lowers blood pressure. MET XL 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with asthma, COPD, severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, decompensated cardiac failure, sick sinus syndrome (unless a permanent pacemaker is present) and untreated pheochromocytoma. MET XL 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, stroke, liver or kidney disease, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, and heart failure.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
