Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml belongs to the group of medicines known as softening agent or soothing agent. Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml is used to treat eczema and related dry skin conditions. Eczema is a disease in which skin patches become inflamed and rough with sores which may lead to itching and bleeding. The skin losses moisture and it may peel, crack, and irritated and the skin becomes dry.

Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml contains two medicines namely liquid paraffin and white soft paraffin. Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml contains Liquid paraffin is a soothing agent (a substance that soothes or softens the skin). It works by avoiding water loss from the outer coating of the skin. This reduces dryness and leaves the skin hydrated and soft. Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml also contains white paraffin which gives a layer of oil on the surface of the skin and avoids water evaporation from the surface of the skin and helps to moisten the skin. 

Take Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience redness, irritation, sensitisation. Most of these side effects of Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml should not be taken if you are known to be allergic to Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml or any other medicines. Do not smoke or go near nude flames as there is risk of severe burns. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before starting Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml. This ointment is slippery, and so if you use it to your hands, be careful if you use machines or drive. Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml should not be used for children less than three years, as the efficacy and safety have not been established.

How to use

Lozisoft Lotion 200 ml is available in the cream form. Apply a thin film on the affected area. Apply in the direction of growth of hair to help avoid irritation of hair follicles.
