Idrofos 50mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Ibandronic acid. It is used to treat or prevent osteoporosis in women after menopause. Osteoporosis refers to the thinning and weakening of bones which is common in postmenopausal women. At menopause, a woman’s ovaries stop producing the female hormone oestrogen, which helps to keep her skeletal system healthy. Taking this medication lowers the risk of breaking bones.
You need to talk to your physician if you have problems in the food pipe, stomach problems, kidney disorders, or planning to have dental surgery. Idrofos 50mg Tablet contains lactose. Be sure to discuss with your physician if you are intolerant to any sugars.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Idrofos 50mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
