Hafoos Cream is primarily composed of Lactic acid and urea. It is a moisturizing cream indicated for the management of hand-foot syndrome during treatment with anticancer medicines like doxorubicin, capecitabine, docetaxel, sorafenib, paclitaxel, etc.

Hand-foot syndrome refers to the toxic skin reaction due to the accumulation of drug molecules (anticancer drugs) on the skin with subsequent degradation of the sweat glands. This skin reaction progresses to pain, swelling and flaking of the skin, resulting in limitations to perform regular activities. In extreme cases, this syndrome presents as ulcers, inflammation and blisters.
