Gemitrol Capsule 15's belongs to the class of ‘Multi-minerals’ primarily used to treat low blood calcium levels. Gemitrol Capsule 15's effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels). Gemitrol Capsule 15's can also be given to pregnant, nursing, and postmenopausal women to ensure that they are getting enough calcium. Additionally, Gemitrol Capsule 15's is used to treat hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid glands) and metabolic bone disease in people with chronic kidney disease, surgery, or other conditions.

Gemitrol Capsule 15's consists of three medicines, namely: Calcium carbonate (mineral), Calcitriol (Vitamin D3), and  Zinc (mineral). Calcium is a mineral that is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance. Calcitriol is a synthetic version of Vitamin D3 and treats calcium deficiency with hypoparathyroidism (the parathyroid glands' decreased activity) and metabolic bone diseases in people with chronic kidney failure. How to use

Gemitrol Capsule 15's is available in the form of an oral tablet, capsule, and liquid formulations.Tablet/Capsule: Swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water. You can take Gemitrol Capsule 15's with or without food at regular intervals, as prescribed by the doctor. Do not crush, chew, or break it. Your doctor will decide the dosage based on the severity of your medical condition.Liquid: Shake the bottle well before use. Take Gemitrol Capsule 15's with or without food. Measure the liquid form of Gemitrol Capsule 15's with a measuring cup and take it as advised by the doctor.
