Product Description

Gazyva 1000mg Injection contains Obinutuzumab. It is used to treat two kinds of cancer, namely chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and follicular lymphoma (FL). In both CLL and FL, the white blood cells called lymphocytes multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. In CLL, the cancer cells occur in the blood and bone marrow. In FL, the cancer cells occur in lymph node sites in the body as well as in the bone marrow.

Talk to your physician if you have any infections, heart problems, brain problems, lung disorders, liver disorders, or taking medicines for high blood pressure or blood clots. You need to inform your physician if you have ever taken medicines that affect your immune system (immunosuppressants or chemotherapy) or if you are about to have any vaccination before taking Gazyva 1000mg Injection. 

This medication is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least 18 months after the last dose. The most common side effects of Gazyva 1000mg Injection are headache, nausea, diarrhea, and alterations in blood pressure and heartbeat.

How to use

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Serious:

• Infusion-related reactions (nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, fever, high or low blood pressure, fast heartbeats, chest discomfort, vomiting, tiredness)
• Infections (sore throat, burning pain when passing urine, feeling weak, painful rash, cough, chest pain)

Common:

• Joint pain, muscle pain
• Constipation
• Hair loss, itchiness
• Low blood cell count
• Sleeplessness
• Depression
• Weight gain
• Runny or blocked nose
• Pain in mouth or throat
• Bone pain
• Heartburn
