Favibest 400mg Tablet consists of the active ingredient Favipiravir. It is an antiviral medicine used to treat influenza and other viral infections, including Covid-19. It belongs to a group of antiviral medicines   that interfere with the replication of the virus. It does not treat infections caused by bacteria.It is effective against wide range of influenza viruses that are resistant to other anti-influenza drugs. It might be crucial for ensuring an efficient treatment, decrease mortality and allow early discharge in relation to Covid-19. It can be administered to patients who have symptoms but are not in need for hospitalization.
