Enzamide 80mg Capsule consists of the active substance Enzalutamide. It is an anti-cancer drug that belongs to the class of medicines called Androgen Receptor Inhibitors. It is used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer in patients who do not respond to surgical or hormonal treatments.
Prostate cancer is sensitive to androgen and hence, this treatment aims to counteract the source and effect of androgen. Contact your physician instantly if you experience allergies, heart problems, falls, fractures or seizures.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if have diabetes, seizures, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood glucose level while on treatment.

 

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Enzamide 80 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
