Product Description

Dapnat M 10/500mg Tablet is a combination medication containing the active ingredients metformin and dapagliflozin. It is used to treat type 2 diabetes along with exercise and diet when treatment with either metformin or dapagliflozin has not adequately controlled blood sugar levels.

How to use

Take Dapnat M 10/500mg Tablet in a dose and duration prescribed by your physician. Take this tablet with food to reduce the side effects in the stomach. Swallow this tablet whole with half a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Stay on your prescribed exercise program and diet while taking this medicine.

Side Effects

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious:

• Dehydration (dizzy, faint, weak, especially when you stand up)
• Low blood sugar
• Urinary tract infections (burning sensation during urination, cloudy urine, back pain)

Common:

• Nausea, vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach pain
• Loss of appetite
• Yeast infections of the vagina and penis
