Product Description

Cytoblastine Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent vinblastine. It is used to treat cancers of the kidney, breast, placenta, testicles, bone marrow, spleen, and lymph nodes (Hodgkin’s disease and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). Cancer is a disorder in which cells multiply in an abnormal and uncontrolled manner. 

Cytoblastine Injection may be given alone or in combination with other chemotherapy medications. Before taking this medication, you need to talk to your doctor if you have infections, liver disorders, or other diseases. Discuss with your physician if you are on a salt-controlled diet as this medication contains sodium. 

Use effective birth control during the treatment with Cytoblastine Injection. This medication may be used in the treatment of other types of cancers not mentioned here.

How to use

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Side Effects

Serious:

• Severe allergic reactions (difficulty in breathing or swallowing, swelling of hands, feet, lips, mouth, or throat, itchy rash)
• Swelling or pain at the site of injection (during or immediately after the injection)

Common:

• Low blood counts
• Tiredness
• Diarrhea
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea, vomiting
