Product Description

Celdaz 200mg Injection consists of the active ingredient Dacarbazine. It is indicated to treat advanced skin cancer, cancer in the lymphatic tissue (Hodgkin’s disease), cancer in the muscles, fat, fibrous tissue, blood vessels or other supporting tissue of the body. 
Nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite are few of the most frequently occurring side effects associated with this medicine. However, contact your physician if your vomiting is severe and does not stop.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

How to use

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Side Effects

Serious:

• Sore throat or high temperature indicating infection
• Unusual bleeding or bruising
• Severe vomiting or diarrhea
• Extreme tiredness
• Severe allergic reaction, characterized by swelling of hands, feet, ankles, face, lips, mouth or throat; rashes or giddiness.
• Headache, vision problems, fits, confusion, lethargy or numbness of face
• Severe liver problems

Common:

• Low levels of RBC, WBC and platelets in blood.
• Loss of appetite
• Nausea, vomiting
• Hair loss
• Skin reactions
