Product Description

Celcarb 150mg Injection consists of the active ingredient Carboplatin. It is used for the treatment of certain types of lung and ovarian cancer. It is also prescribed for the treatment of cancer in the breast, bladder, head and neck. It has a wide spectrum of activity against solid tumors while exhibiting less toxic effects on the stomach and kidneys, unlike other chemotherapy medications. This drug is well tolerated, and the side effects such as nausea, vomiting are milder and delayed.

You must inform your doctor if you experience allergic reactions with injection such as skin rash, itching, and trouble breathing. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

• Headache

• Anaemia
• Nausea, vomiting
• Abdominal cramps
• Infections
• Loss of taste
• Wheezing
• Chest tightness
• Tinnitus or changes in hearing
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Hair loss
• Mouth ulcers
• Discomfort in bones, muscles and joints
