Product Description

Cabotres 40mg Tablet consists of the active ingredient Cabozantinib. It is indicated to treat advanced cancer in the liver and kidney when other treatments have not worked. 

It is also effective against thyroid cancer called metastatic medullary thyroid carcinoma that progress even after surgical treatment. Since medullary thyroid cancer originates from parafollicular cells, they do not respond to radiotherapy or other treatments.

Contact your doctor if you notice blood in urine, vomit or stool, or if you experience unbearable stomach pain, breathlessness or swelling during this treatment.

 

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Serious:

• Severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation
• Breathlessness
• Swelling or pain in hands and feet
• Wounds that are not healing
• Blood vomiting
• Black stools
• Blood in urine
• Headache
• Coughing blood
• Drowsiness 

Common:

• Pus
• Dehydration
• Difficulty swallowing
• Ringing in the ears
• Blood clots in the veins
• Fluctuation in the blood sugar levels
• Electrolyte imbalance
• Increased levels of liver enzymes
• Elevated cholesterol levels in the blood
• Hair loss
• Changes in hair colour
