Alkeprost 500mg Tablet contains the active constituent abiraterone acetate. It is used in adult men to treat prostate cancer, which has spread to other parts of the body. It is usually given with steroid medications to lower the chances of side effects. When Alkeprost 500mg Tablet is prescribed for an early stage of this disorder, it used with testosterone lowering treatment. This medicine is not for use in women or children. 

You need to talk to the physician if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart disorders, low blood potassium, diabetes, allergic conditions, or other diseases. The most common side effects of this medication are fluid in feet or legs, high blood pressure, and diarrhea. A decrease in red blood cells and reduced sex drive may also occur with intake of Alkeprost 500mg Tablet. This medicine should not be taken with Ra-223, which is used to treat prostate cancer.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alkeprost 500mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
