ALASPAN ORAL contain loratadine which belongs to a group of medicine called antihistamines. It is an anti-allergy medicine. It is used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergic rhinitis) such as sneezing, irritated, runny or blocked nose, itchy, red and watering eyes in adults and children over the age of 2 years and also used to relieve the symptoms of skin allergies such as rash, itching, urticaria (hives) in adults and children over the age of 2 years.
ALASPAN ORAL works by blocking the effects of histamine, which may be overproduced in allergic reactions which causes unpleasant symptoms such as itchy or watery eyes, running or blocked nose, sneezing and skin rashes. The common side effects are nausea, dizziness, disturbances in heart rhythm, drowsiness, or tiredness(fatigue), convulsion, abdominal cramps or stomach pains, dry mouth, rash, hair loss, liver function problems.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Alaspan Oral Solution is to be taken empty stomach.
